PERZONAX

Privacy

Version date 25 October 2026

Who is responsible

Perzonax is run by Dominik Halamka and Martin Jelínek, private individuals in the Czech Republic. We decide together how your data is used, so we are joint controllers under the GDPR. You can contact either of us: Dominik Halamka (domak953@gmail.com) and Martin Jelínek (deldelhoe@gmail.com).

We have agreed between us that either of us accepts requests about your data and that we answer them and handle any security incident together. Whichever of us you write to, your request is dealt with.

What we collect

Account: your email address, and the account id from Apple, Google, or Facebook if you sign in with one of them.

Profile: the name, age, and gender you enter, your goal, and your settings.

Practice: your chats with the assistant, the text of what you say by voice, your answers in exercises, your roadmap, and your progress. Chats can describe your feelings and mental health, which the law treats as health data.

Subscriptions: which plan you have, and its status from the App Store or Google Play. Card and payment details stay with Apple or Google; we never see them.

Errors: if the app crashes, a crash report with the device model, app version, and your account id. Crash reports never include chat text.

We do not store recordings of your voice. Speech is turned into text by your device or browser (Apple, Google, or the browser maker), and the app receives only that text.

Why, and on what legal basis

To run your account and the app you signed up for (contract, GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).

To process your chats, which can include health data, we ask for your explicit consent before you start (GDPR Art. 9(2)(a)). Without it the assistant cannot work. You can withdraw it at any time by deleting your account.

To keep the app secure and fix errors (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f)).

We do not sell your data, show ads, or use your data to track you across other apps.

Safety screening

Each message you send is checked automatically for signs of suicide or self-harm. If a message is flagged, the assistant answers with care and the app shows crisis lines. This check never contacts anyone on your behalf and has no other effect on your account.

Who processes your data for us

Supabase (database, sign-in, and server functions), on servers in Frankfurt, Germany.

OpenAI (writing replies, reading them aloud, and the safety check), in the United States. OpenAI does not train its models on this data and keeps it for up to 30 days to detect abuse.

Apple and Google (sign-in, speech-to-text on your device, and in-app subscriptions). Meta (Facebook sign-in, only if you use it).

RevenueCat (keeps track of App Store and Google Play subscriptions) and Sentry (crash reports), in the United States.

Transfers to the United States rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while you have an account. When you delete the account, your data is removed right away.

If you do not use Perzonax for 24 months, your account and all of its data are deleted automatically. An active subscription keeps the account.

Copies in server backups disappear within 30 days.

Your rights

You can see, correct, and download your data, and delete your account, in Settings. Export my data gives you a copy of your profile and chats.

You also have the right to restrict or object to processing, and to withdraw consent. Write to domak953@gmail.com; we answer within one month.

You can complain to the Czech data protection authority, Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů (uoou.gov.cz), or to the authority where you live.

Age

Perzonax is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger.

Changes

If we change how we use your data, we update this notice and its date. For changes that need your consent again, the app asks you before you continue.
